EmeraldProject: Outbreak Commands (Zombie Mod) Beta
Emerald Project is a Hearts of Iron IV zombie outbreak mod built around a simple idea.
What if the world had to fight a normal war while a zombie crisis slowly turned into the real main threat? This mod adds a new crisis layer on top of the campaign. Nations still build armies, industry and alliances, but now they also need clean water, containment, anti-virus research, emergency logistics and a plan for what happens when the dead start taking territory.

- Outbreak Profile System – Choose when the Zombie Horde enters the world. 1 year, 2 years, 3 years or 4 years after the campaign starts. In multiplayer, the selected profile is locked for everyone.
- Zombie Horde Country – ZMB can appear in different regions and grow from a local disaster into a global war.
- Omega Coalition Path – Human nations can move toward an anti-zombie emergency coalition with its own leaders, advisors, commanders, spirits and focus content.
- Emerald Strategic Directorate – A custom command screen for super-weapons, biosecurity, outbreak control, logistics and coalition systems.
- Water Reserve System – Clean water becomes a real strategic resource. Civilians, reactors, unrest and outbreak systems all put pressure on the reserve.
- New Buildings – Build Water Pump Stations to keep the country supplied and Pathogen Research Facilities to push anti-virus work, samples and high-risk outbreak science.
- Anti-Virus And Biosecurity – Research, containment, samples and trials all matter. Rushing science without control can make the situation worse.
- Survival Logistics – Rail evacuation, motor convoys, sea corridors and warehouse stockpiles help keep quarantine lines alive.
- Zombie Evolution – ZMB is meant to stay dangerous into long campaigns. The late game should feel like humanity is being forced into a real world war against the Horde.
- News Events And Story – City falls, outbreak reports, Omega events and ZMB news give the crisis more life during the campaign.
- Multiplayer Focus – The mod is being built with long multiplayer games in mind, with profile locking, spawn guards and lighter ZMB unit spawning.

The world does not fall apart on day one.
The early game is about preparation. Build pumps, protect water reserves, expand containment, control unrest, improve biosecurity and decide how far your country is willing to go to survive.
Once the Zombie Horde appears, the campaign changes. Front lines become quarantine lines. Logistics become survival routes. Research can save humanity, but bad containment can turn every sample into a new risk.
Omega is an anti-zombie emergency order. A political, military and scientific structure created for a world where normal diplomacy may not be enough anymore.
- 1 Year Outbreak – Fast and brutal. Good for chaotic survival games.
- 2 Years Outbreak – Early pressure with a little time to prepare.
- 3 Years Outbreak – The most balanced start for now.
- 4 Years Outbreak – Slower buildup and stronger human nations before the crisis.
The mod is designed for longer campaigns and can continue toward the 1950s and 1960s, with ZMB scaling planned around late game danger.

This mod is currently in beta. Think of it as a pre-release version.
Many systems are already playable, but balance, interface polish, focus content, news events and ZMB scaling are still being improved. Bugs can happen. Some profile options, such as direct ZMB play and difficulty settings, are visible in the interface but are not active yet.
Feedback and bug reports are very helpful right now. If something breaks, feels too weak, feels too strong or just looks strange, reporting it helps the mod get better.
Volunteer Help Wanted
The project is also looking for a volunteer graphic designer or 3D artist who can help with a dedicated zombie model and other visual work. If you want to contribute art to the mod, help would be very welcome.

- Best played with historical or semi-historical starts.
- Multiplayer is supported in design, but huge late game zombie wars can still be heavy.
- The goal is a Vanilla+ experience with a strong outbreak layer, not a full fantasy conversion.
