(PSA) Minor Nation Sprites [ 1.4.2 ]
The description is currently a work-in-progress as I sort everything back out.
While still a working HOI mod, I’ve definitely taken a step back from my mod, MNS.
I’d love to work more on this mod, but I’ve made many mistakes with it. MNS was certainly my introduction into game, and graphic modding, and as many of you had seen initially (Shadows too dark, icons to large/small), though, I fell in love with the community and the satisfaction it brought players. Unfortunately, this was my learning platform, and I can’t bring myself to "finish" the mod due to the massive amounts of work it would take to surmount the many issues I have with 70% of the icons within this mod.
With months of inactivity (just basic work ensuring the mod operates, and that’s about it), I’d like to open the mod to others willing to continue it. If you have any interest in learning, cleaning up, or adding to Minor Nation Sprites, please send me a message, or a friend request.
I’ll add those I deem able to repair the mod in the developers, and grant access to the uploads and so forth. I’ll also keep a backup in case anything goes south.
Most of my leftover energy after work and class is spent on Millennium Dawn, so definitely look for my work there. It’s been a great run, guys!
What is Minor Nation Sprites
Minor Nation Sprites is a mod aimed at replacing the empty, black icons given to many of the regional, or minor powers within Hearts Of Iron IV. Though the DLC packages assist in adding more icons, this mod also assists players without, providing icons for countries such as Romania, and Canada as well.
This mod currently contains:
- Canadian Armor & Air Icons
- Romania Armor & Air Icons
- Hungarian Armor & Air Icons
- Finnish Armor & Air Icons
- Australian Armor & Air Icons
- Swedish Armor Icons
