General Staffing
(DEVELOPMENT ON HOLD)
Tired of looking at generic generals? Want take advantage of Waking the Tiger’s brand spanking new Army Group System? Want to organize your army to your own liking? Or play nations such as Albania, Austria, Mengkukuo or Sikiang? And do you prefer black and white pictures over the vanilla Portraits?
Wait no more Valliant Commanders! Because High Command has issued:

General Staffing aims to provide commanders with a particular taste for organizing Order of Battles with a large roster of commanders fit for whatever nation they want to play. Adding dozens of new generals, field marshals and admirals, for a multitude of nations throughout the game.
In this v0.25 early build, you’ll find that what’s been added are:
- New Black and White Portraits for all Reworked Nations
- Dozens upon Dozens of New Generals, Field Marshals and Admirals
- New Leader Portraits, as well as New Leaders for countries lacking them
- Rebalanced Vanilla Stats for Commanders
All for the the Nations that have been worked on. As Major Disclaimer, this mod is not yet complete, nor will it be completed in the near future, but updates are planned to be fairly frequent. And at the current v0.1 build, are reworked OOBs and portraits for most Major Nations.

As previously stated, General Staffing is a work in progress, manned by only one dedicated lackey that High Command gave a laughable pay raise. The current build does not represent the final product and should not be taken as such.
For a warning, it should be stated that General Staffing is not 100% Balance for either SP and especially MP, as it was coded by an untrained monkey, stat discrepancies are very likely because it can’t read or calculate. Stats will be rebalanced as we go along and at a future date, but do not expect a 100% Balanced gameplay experience.
In the future, it is planned that the mod is continuously worked on, even when all nations are touched upon, there will still be work needed to be done. But at present goals are to:
- Finish up the untouched Nations
- Rebalance Vanilla and Modded Commander Stats
- Find Better Pictures
- Add even more Commanders

HIgh Command and their lackey must give special thanks to GeistHeller’s fantastic French Generals 1939-1945 Mod, without which the lackey could not have put out this mod without serious frustrations on their end. Thank you once again!

High Command advises that their lackey is an untrained monkey, and thusly warn that General Staffing has possible bugs in it. All bugs and issues are to be redirected towards the provided thread in the discussion box below.
It has also come as a warning that General Staffing is unlikely to be compatible with with overhaul Mods such as: Kaiserreich, Road to 56 or Darkest Hour. And as a general warning will unlikely be compatible with any mods that modify the: GFX Folder, the History Files and the Event Files.

The team foregoing this great effort is only a one man-monkey team, and is likely to remain so in the near future because High Command reiterate once again, that it is an untrained monkey.
However!
You gallant commanders can aide in this monkey’s work by reporting bugs, picture concerns, stat concerns, historicality errors and other misc issues. As well as suggestions for commanders, pictures, leaders and nations to work on next in the provided discussion boxes. If their monkey can even figure it out that is.

At day’s end High Command would like to recognize that all resources used in the making of General Staffing belong to their respective owners. And that if you the Commander appreciates this mod that they should favorite and subscribe to it in order to support the untrained monkey.
Fight well on the Frontlines, Commanders!
