Hi! I made this mod to fix the disaster that is Spain in vanilla game. Republican Spain a communist dictatorship? Franco an option in the elctions? Come on!
So, what does this mod include?
-Correct party names and popularity in january 1936
-New country leaders ( Manuel Portela, Largo Caballero, José Antonio… )
-Overhauled the election and civil war events: now you can choose CEDA insted of Falange, and starting positions of both civil wars have been revised.
-More flavour events, such as the replacement of Alcalá-Zamora
-Adjusted spanish map: Navarre is now Cantabrico ( with the appropiate provinces ), new Eastern Aragon state.
-Military leader for both sides in alternate and historical civil wars: José Miaja, Manuel Goded…
-New advisor that boost non-aligned popularity to help players to choose to support the CEDA
-Tank models localisation
-Focus tree. It has a lot of focuses, and you can take up to 58.
-+20 events that interact with the focuses and ~5 national spirits.
-Added some tungsten to Galicia and some steel to Basque country
-Manuel Portela portrait thanks to paradox forum user @CarefulPlum
NEW THINGS:
-East Aragon added to a supply area
-The game should no longer chrash when selecting a fleet as republican Spain
-France can no longer take the focus "Go with Britain" if in a faction
-Buffed the doctrine focuses, now they give up to 4 research bonuses
-The focus "Madrilenian Military Industry" now correctly gives factories in Madrid, and not in Svealand
-Now states will have Spanish names ( Ex: Castilla instead of Castille, etc )
-Added some events to Nationalist Spain
-Now Mola starts as leader of the nationalists
-Expanded the political tree
-Expanded a bit the democratic and fascist diplomacy trees
-Now the Mediterranean socialist Union focus gives the possibility of creating factions
-Added 2 more focuses to industrial tree
-Expanded the air tree
-Added 1 field marshal and 2 generals for republicans. Replaced the generic portraits with photos.
-Added 1 field marshal and 3 generals for nationalists. Replaced the generic portraits with photos.
-Juan Negrin, Emilio Mola and Largo Caballero portraits thanks, again to @CarefulPlum
-Anarchist option in socialist government event
-Instalaza design company added, avaliable upon completing the focus
-Theorist Vicente Rojo added, avaliable upon completing army modernization focus
-1940 election events
UNDERWAY:
-Spanish Loc. You may notice some spanish localisation files already in the mod.
