Sorry, I’m not good with mods, but I’ve made this one work fully as intended, finally. In order to see all the portraits properly, you need both the DLC walking the tiger, and the free DLC anniversary pack, and both activated in your game.

Doing so not only fixes the problem (mostly in europe) of blank generals, but makes every other portrait for a general or generic leader work the way they are supposed to. Due to typeos and the way the game will over-write data in older portrait files when reading it, many portraits did not generate properly; until now!
