Democratic Republican Spain
A simple mod that alters only the Spanish event file to change the civil war between fascism and communism to be a civil war between fascism and democracy. This is quite a significant error by Paradox, and I aim to fix it. The Soviet Union will still support democratic Spain even though they are no longer communist. Democratic Spain also has a sizable communist popularity (although choices Spain makes before the civil war can affect how large it is) so it should not be too difficult for a democratic Spain to flip ideologies if they want to.
I want to add some more depth to this later on to represent political instability in the democratic Spain, maybe even have a victorious democratic Spain get into a civil war with their communist supporters as well.
This mod is not compatable with other mods that alter the Spanish event file (so that rules out most, if not all, Spanish national focus mods). To maintain as much compatability with other mods as possible – as this mod changes relatively little – I did not alter the localisation file for country names, so democratic Spain is still called "Spain" and communist Spain is still caled "Republican Spain".
