OWB Research Year Headers
This is a submod for the mod Old World Blues
This mod adds year headers to tech trees in the research menu, like in the base game.
As a result of the alignment of the techs, some trees have been expanded physically in terms of distance. Requiring some dragging/scrolling.
Technologies that are not in their appropriate tech category will have individual backgrounds that matches the category they belong to. i.e. powered weaponry has a green background.
Some technologies have had their ‘unlock’ year changed to help improve the readability of some of the trees. The specific technologies will be mentioned in the section below.
Infantry folder:
Advanced combat armor ‘unlock’ year changed from 2277 to 2284
Automatic distress beacon ‘unlock’ year changed from 2284 to 2285
Support folder:
This tree has been split into two sections: Support companies and Support equipment
Both sections have their own year headers, however they both share the 2275 year header.
Vehicle folder:
The year headers in this tree are on the bottom because of the advanced military car background.
Air folder:
Salvaged transport plane ‘unlock’ year changed from 2275 to 2278
Cargo Zeppelin ‘unlock’ year changed from 2275 to 2279
Engineering folder:
Radio detection ‘unlock’ year changed from 2277 to 2278
Decimetric radar ‘unlock’ year changed from 2278 to 2279
Improved decametric radar ‘unlock’ changed from 2279 to 2280
Industry folder:
This tree has years above the resource extraction techs as they take considerably longer than the construction techs to be unlocked.
