Old World Blues – Alternative Coring Costs
Requires Old World Blues (the Fallout One)

Features

This reworks the cost of coring states to be more stable over time and prevent the exponential growth that comes from coring too many states.

The coring cost no longer takes into account your current cored states population, and instead the distance from your capital to your state plays a bigger role in the cost.

This prevents states with low manpower (e.g. 1000) costing 1900pp to core later in the game.
From the thumbnail you can see the base cost was doubled to make inital costs higher, but over time the cost increase will be more stable.

For those intereted. the full value changes are:
BASE_COST = 25 ————————————-> 50
STATE_POP_DIVISOR = 0.15 ———————-> 0.75
DISTANCE_DIVISOR = 5 —————————-> 1.25
(lower means higher weighting)
