Description:
Please note that this is an unfinished version. Any state-related event, decision or national focus can cause some problems.

This mod is a remake of my previous UES mod. As opposed to the previous arbitrary division of states, in this remake I’ve adopted historic administrative divisions*.

However, since I won’t have enough time in the following one year to complete the states-related events, decisions and national foci, I chose to release this unfinished version first. If anyone would like to help me with the unfinished parts, please contact me. Or, you can completely take over this mod.

*Due to the difficulties in access to related information, I adopted modern administrative divisions for some areas. There are also areas that are not drawn according to administrative divisions in order to restore some of the historic boundaries.

FEATURES

1. a redrawn world map using standard GIS data (largely consistent with SWM mod)
2. Added a large number of islands that were missing from the vanilla game, and redrew strategic areas of the Pacific Ocean.
3. subdivided states, which basically coincide with the historic first-level administrative divisions of all countries (for countries that I can get its historic administrative divisions data, the 1936 administrative divisions is adopted. Modern administrative divisions are used for other countries with no historic data or that it is difficult to find its historic data), and some countries are even subdivided into second-level administrative divisions.
4. a large number of states created to restore historic borders. (e.g. several border adjustments between the Soviet Union and Finland, Peru-Ecuador border, German Africa, etc.)
5. The population is basically distributed in proportion to the various subdivided states.
6. the total number of slots for each country in 1936 remains unchanged and is distributed among the subdivided states, but some new slots are added for each country that can be obtained after studying the corresponding technology.
7. the total number of states reached 3000+.

To-do list

0. Revision of states-related decisions, national foci and Events
1. States building cost rebanlance. (Especially infra)
2. Addition of extra countries cores.
3. Addition of missed provinces.
