Description:

This mod seeks to fix the French Prime Ministers in the game. Historically, the position changed place many times in the timespan of hoi4, but only Pierre Laval and Leon Blum are in the game as of now.

All events will decrease stability by 5%, but give you 25 political power. All events only happen if you take the popular front focus tree, allowing you to trade stability for political power if you take that path. I did this because I thought that the civil war mechanic (civil war under 25% stability) was too easy to avoid, but to ensure that it wouldn’t be all negative, I gave the country extra political power, which France desperately needs. All events stop once you remove the disjointed government idea. meaning you’ll be stuck with the Prime Minister you have at the time, so choose wisely.

The Prime Minister Switches happen as such:

Pierre Laval will step down for Albert Sarraut if the 25% of the Popular Front focus has been completed, representing the Hoare-Laval Pact.
Leon Blum gains power normally through the Popular Front focus
Camille Chautemps will take power after a debate Leon Blum has over seizing emergency powers, sometime between mid 1937 and 1938.
Leon Blum will become leader again, due to Camille Chautemps resigning over the Anschluss.
Edouard Daladier will become Prime Minister a few months later, due to the Popular Front collapsing.
Paul Reynaud will take power in 2 scenarios.
The first scenario is French non intervention in the Nordic front. If the Soviets win the Winter War, and Denmark has capitulated, Edouard Daladier will resign.
Intervening in the Winter War (completing support the finns focus), will however prevent Daladier from resigning, and additionally give France extrapolitical power, stability, and war support.
The second scenario is if the war arrives on French soil (over 5% capitulation). In this case, Daladier’s government will collapse, and Paul Reynaud will take power.

All portraits are done by me. I’m not the best at making them though, so if you want to help, or know somewhere I can find better portraits, feel free to tell me.

If you have any suggestions, put them in the comments.
Otherwise, feel free to know this is just part one of a bigger project to fix Hoi4’s leaders.
