Description:

If you are like me when playing Vanilla, you probably feel like Civilian Economy and Early Mobilization are useless. You may not be able to do anything about it at first, but one of the first priority of most players is to switch to any economy law better than those two. But it has always stricken me as rather odd that even a democratic capitalist nation is still better off rushing to war economy rather than preserving peace a little longer. Thus this mod was born.

What it does:
Every so often (the exact amount of time depending on ideology and economy law) an event will fire giving you some extra goods (new civ factories, infrastructure, building slots, etc.) giving you a little extra incentive to remain civilian or early mobilization.

Specific changes:
– Ideology specific flavor
– Unique event pictures
– Special events to fire for each ideology
– Events will fire more or less often depending on ideology (Democtatic (most), Neutral (average), Communist and Fascist (lowest but fascist gets slightly better events)) since most hoi4 features have an anti-democratic slant
– USA specific laws also benefit, though at a lower rate (same as Communist and Fascist) to simulate the Great Depression
– Anarchist nations cant get events due to their special economy law
– Game will try to distinguish colonial and non colonial (compliance territories) neutral nations, giving a special colony rare event to colonial neutral nations

Future changes and unfinished:
– Some events are supposed to display state name instead of Country name. Currently I can only get it to display country name. I left this in for now since I asked for advice on how to do that on the forums. Hopefully I’ll be able to change this finally call the mod finished. Please tell me how to make this work right if you know.
– Still working on balance for Mtth. I like the balance I came to in my tests (30 base days for dem nations, 45 for neutral, 60 for extreme ideologies (all subject to Mtth modifiers)) but I’d like feedback. I want to notice a difference without making Civilian and Early more powerful than the better econ laws.
– I want to maybe make an addition or maybe another mod which fires some flavor event for export laws (which might give convoys and transport planes). This is a lower priority for me because I feel trade is already more balanced but can be kinda annoying at times if no one is buying your products.
