Doomguy’s Middle East Mod
This is a small mod meant to add additional flavor and details to the Middle Eastern countries in Hoi4 – this includes not just the traditional Middle East but also the Soviet releasables in the Caucasus and Central Asia as well as Afghanistan and Pakistan. The biggest beneficiaries are Iran and Turkey, but most of the other Middle Eastern countries gained at least a portrait or two.
MAIN CHANGES
New portraits for every Middle Eastern country (except Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan).
Political party names for Middle Eastern countries.
Death events for Iraq and Iran (both country non-aligned leaders dying at some point)
Releasable countries start with no focuses done in 1939 start.
Mod is compatible with anything that doesn’t change the History files of any Middle Eastern country.
Big thanks to the Kaiserreich team for being an excellent source of portraits for a lot of countries. I also would like to thank Stark’s Portrait mod as well for having a bunch of portraits for leaders and generals. I also want to thank the Cold War Iron Curtain mod for several portraits used for Israel.
I didn’t include Saudi Arabia or Kazakhstan, but that’s because I couldn’t find anything to change for these countries, unfortunately. Admittedly, I didn’t search very hard, so if there’s anything that people suggest for these countries, or anywhere else, it’d be appreciated!
