Historical and Cool Alternative Flags and War Flags
This mod aims to correct all the incorrect flags found in vanilla HOI4 and create new interesting (mostly historical) flags for some of the alternate ideology flags. Additionally this mod also seeks to add war flags to the countries that had them, these flags appear on your fleets and divisions.
Most of the historical flags were sourced from Wikipedia and alternate flags were created by me or sourced from Reddit on R/vexillology so I would like to thank the brilliant flag designers on R/vexillology.
In it’s current state this mod contains flags for all the major powers. However the plan in the future is to correct or redo all the flags in the game. Then after that add unique flags to puppets depending on who puppets them eg. Union Jack with a swastika in it for German UK puppet, or US flag with a hammer and sickle for USSR US puppet.
This is my first ever mod so don’t expect me to be a modding god. Also I am a regular ass dude who loves HOI not a historian, this is what I got from the research I’ve done but if I am wrong about something please politely let me know and I’ll see about fixing it in the next update.
