Description:

After posting my mod Basilissa for Byzantium There were a few requests for similar mods in the comments. I thought the Empress for Qing sounded good, and finally made it after some prodding.

Wanrong (婉容; 13 November 1906 – 20 June 1946), also known as Xuantong Empress, of the Manchu Bordered Plain White Banner Gobulo clan, was the wife and empress consort of Puyi, the Xuantong Emperor of China. She was titular Empress consort of the Qing dynasty from 1922 until abolition of the monarchy in 1924. She was also Empress consort of the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo from 1934 until abolition of the monarchy took place in 1945. She was posthumously honoured with the title Empress Xiaokemin.

During the Soviet invasion of Manchuria at the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1945, Wanrong was captured by Chinese Communist guerrillas and transferred to different locations before she was settled in a prison camp in Yanji, Jilin. She died in prison in around June or August 1946 and her remains were never found.

This mod gives you the option to play as Wanrong, after a few conditions. You must, playing as Manchukuo, Go down the independence path to the war for independence. Then you must take the decision:

Then… wait!

Credit to steam users @Hurts for the original idea, and @Roark Tenjouin for additional research and support.

05/19: I changed the portrait to be actually Wanrong. People were liking the old one, but it bugged me that it wasn’t actually her. The old one is still in however. Just reach the mandate of heaven focus.

05/20: The mod now has a Russian translation.
