Yamunoki’s Releasable Nations – Unofficial Expansion!

I loved the extra countries Yamunoki put so much work into building into the game. I wanted to decolonize the world and have them available. Sadly Hoi4’s base decolonization is rather limited in their scope. To rectify that I started manually releasing various countries – mostly by weakening majors and large minors down. I tried to keep majors still majors and their focus trees still mostly function properly.
This is not an in-depth lore mod, but its fun for seeing chaos and RPing. The generic focus tree is a lot better on the politics side.
I put further work into expanding the generic focus tree in order to give a lot more flavor to the new countries that have been made. Many major’s have annexation war goals in their national focus trees to reclaim lost territory. Its not by any means a polish product – many new countries don’t make divisions for some reason (example: new Chinese warlords, many African countries, several American countries), but it does help keep the game running fairly quickly so I didn’t bother fixing that.

Majors are also have a different experience from normal:
USA: The old USA is split into 5 countries! Can you reunite it?
Germany: Divided up much more than the normal start, will you for example bring the Bavarian Soviet Republic back into the fold?
Italy: Venice and Sicily have broken free!
UK: Scoexit has happened!
France: You’ve been chopped in half!
Japan: (mostly the same), except southern Korea is independent.
