Mod that makes Byzantium formable by Bulgaria with Tsar Ferdinand as ruler, if certain conditions are met, along with a little flavour such as renaming a few locations and an event firing. I felt that his path is rather dry compared to that of his son. So, this should give him an extra alternate history objective to pursue to make his dream of New Byzantium come true, quite literally.
You only get cores on Greece – including Rhodes – and two Turkish provinces for completing this, so it is more of a side objective with a fair reward rather than anything OP.
If you switch ideology or form another cosmetic tag such as the Third Bulgarian Empire after forming Byzantium , you will lose this tag for good: The legitimacy to this claim lies solely with Ferdinand and his elite.
Will likely conflict with mods that change decisions for formable nations, as well as altering BFTB events. If doesn’t, great. If it does, there is nothing I can do.
Needs Waking the Tiger and Battle for the Bosphorus DLCs, which are needed to form Byzantium and install Ferdinand as ruler, respectively.
