Description:

Updated for 1.11 patch! Includes pratically all types of gear for Portugal.

ABOUT THE MOD:

This mod adds specific historical technology / equipment to the in-game country known as Portugal including:

– Infantry Gear
– Motorized, Mechanized, Amtracs and Armored Cars
– Artilery, Anti-Tank and Anti-Air weapons
– Locomotives (with Armored Train being the only exception)
– All types of Tanks (except most variants like SP Artilery) for non-NSB users
– Most types of Tank Chassis for NSB users
– Extra tank icons to pick from after designing your tank
– American/English UI for Portugal (when using the Tank Designer)
– All types of Airplanes (INCLUDING carrier airplanes!)
– A lot of Ship types (but not all) for both MTG and non-MTG users
– Custom ship names for non-MTG users

If you question some of the equipment I included, feel free to comment here (link) after reading
this (link). Also, please take a look inside the game – I included custom description, with a little bit of history regarding the equipment (in Portuguese use), for most it.

Please rate positively to give this mod a little more visibility so that others can find it!

FUTURE PLANS:

95% of the work is done, but I still intend to add one or another thing. Some of the current graphics might be improved, as well. Portugal is only lacking some bits in terms of navy. I haven’t done these yet due to lack of time / information or simply because they never existed in the first place! On a side note, and before anyone asks – the heavy tanks / super heavy tanks added never existed – they were merely added in order to get rid of the blank space, and because they are still plausible options (Portugal had a lot of Sherman hulls / tanks that could have been converted).

I do plan to do a complete overhaul for Portugal in the near future though, one that will include a new focus tree (ACTUALLY historical!), new design companies, more generals, admirals, political figures and events, so please stay tuned for more!

COMPATIBILITY:

The mod is ironman compatible since it doesn’t change checksum. Should also be compatible with most other mods, unless they change something related with technology / current equipment for Portugal. The mod doesn’t require any DLC either. Works with campaigns in progress as well.

INFORMATION TO OTHER MODDERS:

I am somewhat reluctant to permit people to include this mod into a big compilation of mods or any sort of work, but depending on the work itself I might open exceptions, and I am usually very open minded so feel free to contact me in private (or here, but I might not check the mod that often so leave me a message on the comments’ area of my profile) if you wish to do so.

You can however add a link to this or any workshop item of mine anywhere you want, without even asking. Same goes for steam collections.

CREDITS, DONATIONS AND MORE:

The mod was entirely my work. From coding to the images included – many of those images were actually taken from existing equipment from other nations, after all, many nations kept using the same equipment, and in the case of Portugal, we kept buying and maintaining foreign equipment, and even licensing and producing foreign equipment locally.

I do my work for free but if you really iked the work, got extra money to spare and feel like donating, feel free to do so at: LINK TO DONATIONS[paypal.me]

Please like and favorite if you like the mod. It will be more than enough to help for the time dedicated into making this.

Be sure to check my other projects if you are interested by the way!
(clicking on any animated picture opens a new page directly to the mod in question)

Or my collection, easier to add them all for instance!

Also, some non-ironman mods for better gameplay, if you really got the patience!
