Medieval Infantry Reskin
This mod adds medieval infantry, ships, buildings and cavalry into your favourite WW2 strategy game!
Your lovely countries now have lovely uniforms and weapons! This is only a cosmetic mod and it does not change anything other than looks! Every major now has a new model and every generic models have been changed. There are a few variants on some of the generics. I also could not share the pictures of buildings, (though some of them are visible in the screenshots above) ships and a few more infantry models. You’ll have to see them yourself.
Some models are taken from the Old Europe mod. It’s a cool one, be sure to check it out!
Of course, as this is my first mod it presents some issues. I’ve tried my best to fix these but could not clean up some of them. Read below.
KNOWN ISSUES:
-There are no models for motorized units….at all.
+I’m sorry, as I am not professional enough to fix this issue. I’ll be very happy if anyone can enlighten me on this. You can however fix this temporarily, check out below.
-Cavalry and tank use the same models.
+ A simple method to save some resources for myself. Couldn’t do this for motorized though, apologies.
-Some nations share the same model.
+Yes…I’m aware of this and it bugs me a lot but I could not find enough models for it. At least every major has different ones.
-Some nations still have their WW2 uniforms.
+This only happens to the following countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Estonia. I have no idea why I could not just overwrite their old models but I was not able to. The fix to this is possible however, check out below.
Fixing issues.
PT1. Unboxing your motorized unit. (Pun intended)
Step 1. Go to your motorized division’s template
Step 2. Add in anything else from a motorized infantry.
Step 3. Click the little box where you can see the models, under the division icon and choose between how you want your model to look.
PT2. Fixing WW2 uniforms.
Step 1. Open every template.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this mod, despite its little bugs existing. I’d feel very obliged if you were able to report any bugs you encountered. I’ll do my best to improve this mod. I still have some update ideas for this mod (i.e adding actual medieval battle sound effects) but the only way I can progress this depends on how favoured and liked this mod is.
