A Quick Question

– Hi, I’ve got one question for you: Do you like ships? Of course you do, who doesn’t? Know what i also like? Seeing the ships i’m building finished in my lifetime. I also like a sprinkle of realism so I decided to smash these two together with some doses of statistical exaggeration for game wise fun.

What Does This Mod Do?

– This mod aims to make you be able to be a naval power that wasn’t one already. How, you ask? Simple. Two decisions, 7 options for naval construction and 4 options for research funding. These options are levels that control how strong your economy is steered towards naval production or research. Want to build ships faster? Focus on naval construction, not so fast though. Focus too hard and your economy may not be able to handle it. Want to boost production of guns and couldn’t care less about more ships e.g. Iraq, Pakistan, Romania, etc… ? Abandon the navy altogether and sacrifice your naval production for increased guns production. Again, great idea for you, maybe not for merchants, naval officers and people who like big grand fleets. Point is, go nuts or play it safe, the choice is yours.

Why Did I Make This Mod?

– Simply, I enjoyed having a large navy by late game and with Man The Guns, if your navy gets decimated, rebuilding it is simply far too time consuming. So I sought a way to make it possible to rebuild a navy or if you never had one to begin with make it possible to reach a level that would allow you to rise to challenge majors who already where great naval powers. Doing this in a way that wasn’t outright cheating was the real challenge as ships aren’t built over night, (not great ones anyways). Regardless, this mod gives you the power to at maximum consequence to your economy triple your naval production so that one decisive battle in the English channel doesn’t mean the end of your naval ambitions.
