Welcome to my newest mod. This time I focused on Romania, which already got an unique focus tree back with Death or Dishonor, but with time pasing and new mechanics coming tot he game, I felt the need for a rework oft he Romanian focus tree.
What makes this mod unique?
Many may know the already popular „Romania Reworked“ mod, but there are big differences between these 2 mods.
This mod is specifically focused on reworking the DoD-Tree. As you can see in the pictures, the layout introduced with DoD is still there, but has seen a large-scale overhaul.
Also most new game mechanics introduced since DoD are used atleast once within this mod.
What paths are there?
Besides the „Preserve Greater Romania“ path, there are now 2 ways to play the „Balkans Dominance“ path, with one focusing on conquering and the other on the formation oft he „Danubian Defense League“ (comparable to the Turkish ‚Balkan Pact‘)
There are:
-1 communist path
-1 monarchist path (for Carol II)
-2 democratic paths (Tatarescu and Calinescu)
-3 fascist paths (historical with Antonescu, the Iron Guard, National Christian Party)
Coming down to a total of atleast 21 different ways to play this mod.
Anything else?
The industrial path, aswell as the 3 military trees have seen a minor overhaul, mostly in the form of reduction of the time a focus takes to complete, small buffs or adjustments and some brand-new focuses.
A Balance of Power -System was added to portrait the slow but steady drift of power from Carol II to the Iron Guard.
A lot of new Victory Points, railways and impassables have been added, aswell as some changes to the starting amount of building slots in the Romanian states.
New advisors and generals have been added (some via focuses) with portraits provided by other mods like „Road to 56“ and „Kaiserredux“.
