Last Updated for September 7th, 2024. (KR’s 1.2 release)

This compatibility patch will only be updated as needed, but will otherwise always work with the latest KR Tech Extension and RT56 Steel Aluminium Standalone mod release.

This is the official compatibility patch for KR Tech Extension and RT56 Steel Aluminium Standalone – only the most basic integration to get both working together, don’t expect expanded tree for The Road to 56-style Steel/Aluminium Mills anytime soon.

For earlier releases, click here[github.com] and pick the version you’re looking for, then follow the instructions below:
1) Download this submod.
2) Delete any former versions and ensure that you’ve unsubscribed from the Steam Workshop version of this mod.
3) Extract the .zip to `DocumentsParadox InteractiveHearts of Iron IVmodkr-tech-extension_rt56mill_compat`.
4) Make a copy of the `descriptor.mod` file in the folder, rename it to `kr-tech-extension_rt56mill_compat.mod` and put it in `Hearts of Iron IVmod`.

Due to tech tree conflict, this patch doesn’t work with the following compatch for KRTX:
