Colonial Administrations
Would you like to do proper colonialism, with vast colonial administrations instead of holding half of africa as the German Reich? Maybe bring Great Britain back to its great colonial empire?
Now you can!
Adds the ability to create colonial adimistrations on all continents except your home continent.
- For every continent except your home continent, you get a decision to enable interaction with your colonial adiminstration (CA)
- When first creating a colonial administration, you have to hand it one state via an on-map decision. This will be their capital province.
- Further states on the same continent can be given to the CA via on map decisions or a blanket decision to hand all states over.
- Territory can be taken back from the CA either via on map decisions per state or for all states at once.
- You can hide the on-map decisions via the decision menu.
- This mod relies on the base-game continents:
- europe
- north_america
- south_america
- australia
- africa
- asia
- middle_east
- You can only have one colonial administration per continent, per nation.
- Only independent nations can have colonial administrations.
- The AI cannot use this mods features.
The mod should be compatible with everything. It does not modify any base game or mod created files. It only adds decisions, a ton of cosmetic tags (for the flags) and a custom subject type.
- As the mod relies on the base game continents, it will not work for total conversions such as Equestria at War.
- The CA cosmetic tags (which only affect the CA flag) will not work for suzerains that dont have a base game tag
- The CA cosmetic tag flags may missmatch the proper suzerain flag, if the suzerains flag is different from the base game flag.
Of course giving away territory via this mod may break other mods or even the base game, if those assume certain territory control.
