The mod description:If the South had won the American Civil War, World War I would have been even more devastating, China and Japan formed a Pan-Asian alliance, Denikin’s march on Moscow succeeded, Nazi Germany erupted into civil war, and the government of the German Second Empire went into exile in East Prussia.
In this timeline, the American Civil War ended with a victory for the Confederacy. Garibaldi tragically died during the Civil War, causing setbacks for the cause of Italian unification. World War I was more devastating compared to the normal timeline. The Austro-Hungarian Empire withdrew from the war early in 1918, and subsequent domestic uprisings were all suppressed. Britain and France were also willing to see Austro-Hungary survive after the war to curb Germany’s potential expansion, so it continued to exist. During the Russian Civil War, Denikin successfully advanced into Moscow, but later suffered a disastrous defeat in the war against Poland, ceding Belarus and western Ukraine beyond the Dnieper River. Germany surrendered in 1919. After the war, in 1923 during the Rhineland Crisis, France successfully occupied the Rhineland, which sparked nationalism and patriotism within Germany. The London Stock Exchange crash in 1929 caused excessive costs for the occupation of the Rhineland. Andrettiadiu successfully implemented reforms in response and, due to his prestige, became Prime Minister and successfully reorganized the government. When the Nazis came to power in 1933, their ruthless purges and tyranny triggered a civil war, ultimately resulting in the Second German Empire government led by Wilhelm II going into exile in East Prussia.
