Main:
This is a corporate add-on for the "Millennium Dawn: Director’s Cut" mod.
While many corporations exist worldwide, many are currently missing, including Asian corporations (excluding Taiwan and China), Italian corporations, and attractive corporations with global influence.
Therefore, we aim to add seed corporations with global influence, multinational corporations, or large corporations with influence in each country.
*Currently Added
1. Japanese, Indian, Korean, Italian, Ukraina, Spain companies have been added.
2. TSMC, SAMSUNG, and SOFTBANK, Telefonica can be designated as branches.
3. After the establishment of the European Union (USoE), after completing 182 days of FOCUS, the country can be used by companies from other countries.
(Only Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, and Turkey are supported.)
4. Duplicate companies designated in GENERIC have been removed (nerfs to minor countries).
5. Company slots have been reclassified according to light and heavy industry.
6. Vehicle production buffs have been added for electric vehicle businesses such as Tesla and Xiaomi.
7. Coca-Cola in the USA has been buffed, and United Healthcare has been nerfed.
8. Turkey’s KOC Holding is a conglomerate with operations in various sectors, including construction, telecommunications, and investment, so its political power consumption has increased and buffs have been added.
9. Currently the four major seed companies: ADM, Bunge, Cargill, LDC
(The two unlisted companies are classified under the COMPANIES slot, while the listed company is categorized under BRANCHES.)
10.United States of Europe ideas have been added. Most are named after public works or departments.
(Since this is one of the game’s end-game contents, I didn’t really consider balance!)
Balance:
1. Some companies (especially those in Korea, Japan, and India) have very unique conglomerate structures. These companies exert a wide range of influence, spanning not only a single industry but also various scales.
*A single company operating in various sectors, including cup noodles, restaurants, petrochemicals, steel, power generation, telecommunications, semiconductors, automobiles, and construction!
Therefore, while designating one of these companies may have the same effect as designating multiple companies, the impact of an individual company may be smaller than designating a specialized company.
Furthermore, the significant influence of these companies on governments will require greater political power.
2. Asia is not yet specialized in the financial and investment sectors, which are somewhat less effective than US investment firms.
(However, companies that make aggressive and unique investments, such as Softbank, have very large asset sizes, similar to European companies.)
3. Northeast Asian countries do not possess significant oil reserves, but they do have a robust petrochemical industry that processes and sells crude oil.
Therefore, these companies are considered to produce only a small amount of oil.
Future Patch Plans:
1. Updates to Japanese companies
2. Adding other various multinational seed (agricultural) companies.
3. Handling GFX work for companies without GFX images.
(I used ChatGPT for assistance, but frequent use keeps hitting the usage limit, causing delays).
4. Based on MDDC’s primary FOCUS TREE, we will strengthen the positions of TSMC, Samsung, and NVIDIA through semiconductor investments, AI development, and the semiconductor war with Micron. (idea ready)
5. Like MONSANTO, companies that are added later but later disappear through mergers will be added as events where deciding to sell them yields a small profit, but they vanish from their home country while strengthening the acquiring country.
(Conversely, you will also be able to choose the option to nationalize them.)
The exact roles and sizes of all global companies are not yet known. If you have any suggestions for countries or companies, please let us know. We will do our best.
