WELCOME TO VotP!! The future definitive US political mod! Right now we’re in open beta and the mod basically serves as a detailed election simulator!

What is simulated?

-Presidential elections
-Presidential primary elections
-National conventions

Features?

-9 achievements to get!

-All states have factors that determine who they vote for:
states can be:
-Rural
-Urban
-Poor
-Rich
-Socially liberal
-Socially conservative
-Loyal or lean Republican or Democrat, or a swing state…

each state has a wing of the party it prefers.. progressive, moderate, or conservative.

home states matter as does party wing.. for example the player could compromise and pick a conservative vice president to have a better chance in Tennessee.. or have Al Gore run, who lives there.

-% chance of winning in each state is calculated
-popular vote % is calculated
-the player can look back at previous election results
-the player can even view COUNTY level results

-there’s multiple debug tools that allow for more adjustments.
(adding 3rd party candidates, changing loyalties, 2024 mode, etc)

-presidential primaries rely on momentum, candidates can drop out, endorse others, etc.

I’m opening this up publicly for people to test it out and give me feedback on how the elections went, if you’d like to do that click here:

again, 2 main notices: 1 is that theres no president content, no focus trees, its just the simulation, which still is impressive in its own right. 2. this is compatible with hoi4 1.16.10 (right before the japan dlc update)

i want to thank George Starkey for helping me brainstorm and emarcus116 for the blank North America map (tho i had to do quite a lot of tinkering with it) {{and added puerto rico ;3 }}
