📢 Send ultimatums to countries with fully functional News Events!

This is a small maintenance update to the original “Ultimatums” mod, created by sjplayer01 and HarDar6605.

Over time, the Ultimatum News Event scripts became outdated and began causing issues, breaking the base game’s News Events at various points in the game.

This update fixes those problems, allowing the mod to function correctly in modern versions of Hearts of Iron IV.

⭐ What’s included in this update?

✔️Current HOI4 version: 1.17.5*
✔️Supported languages: English and Spanish

✔️Fixed broken News Event scripts
✔️Restored correct ROOT/FROM handling in ultimatum notifications
✔️The country sending the ultimatum now receives the correct reaction text
✔️All countries correctly receive ultimatum news
✔️Prevents the mod from overwriting or breaking the base game’s News Events
✔️Restored compatibility with the current HOI4 version

⚙️Note

Everything else in the mod remains exactly as designed by the original creators.
