So, this is basically the latest version of the Sheep AI mod, but with the help of the great and terrible neuroslop, I’ve done the following:

1) Removed the restrictions imposed by is_ai checks and their equivalents. Why, and what does this achieve? Well, there used to be a bunch of checks that forced one AI to “go easy” on another AI. Now, one bot won’t go easy on another bot just because it’s a bot. AI Allies will crush AI Germany in Benelux, AI Germany will form a collaborationist government with AI USSR, Germany will spam submarines like crazy against AI Allies, and so on. Each AI essentially thinks that a player is always playing against it, and therefore will give it their all.
2) In some places, I simplified third-party checks or removed the check for the historical focus. Now, with the historical focus, Germany will carry out Sealion.
3) The Sheep AI is generally pretty dumb in non-historical scenarios because the base AI settings are only slightly modified there; it’s very good in scripted situations but has almost no flexibility. Using neuroslop, I managed to integrate the “combat” defines and ai_strategy files from the Frontline AI mod; now the AI won’t be as clueless in non-standard situations. If a landing takes place, the bot will commit entire army groups to it, rather than 7 divisions, half of which won’t even make it to shore.

I don’t know if I’ll update it if the original Sheep AI gets updated further; I’m very lazy. If you’re not too lazy, feel free to fork the mod—I don’t really care either way.
