Please consider subscribing and favoriting this item. Every visit, test, and analyzer run helps improve the sorting rules and allows me to refine the analyzer using real-world mod lists from the community.

## What is ModdingTools?

ModdingTools.com is a free browser-based mod list analyzer that helps organize Hearts of Iron IV mod lists before you launch the game.

Instead of manually researching load order rules, dependencies, submods, and compatibility patches, the analyzer applies community load order conventions and descriptor metadata to generate a recommended load order automatically.

The analyzer runs entirely in your browser and reads your local mod metadata files.

## Recommended Scan Locations

### Steam Workshop

C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent

### Manual Mods

C:UserDocumentsParadox InteractiveHearts of Iron IVmod
“`

Simply point the analyzer at one or more of these folders and it will scan your installed mods automatically.

## How It Works

1. Open ModdingTools.com
2. Select Hearts of Iron IV Analyzer
3. Scan your installed mod folder
4. Review detected mods
5. Click Auto Sort
6. Export the recommended load order
7. Import into your games launcher

## Important Notes

The analyzer does **not** guarantee compatibility between mods.

The goal is to help organize load order and expediate the process of getting your load order correct. once I receive more community feedback I can improve the rules further
