Armoured Support Battalions
Something that has been bugging me for a while in hoi4 is the fact that tanks are strictly relegated to line battalions, where during WW2 many tank battalions were independent units attached to divisions on an ad-hoc basis. German heavy tank battalions, for example, would be attached to panzer divisions to act as special breakthrough units. Allied infantry divisions additionally often found themselves with GHQ tank battalions for direct armour support.
This mod therefore constitutes my best attempt to recreate this, there are two new support companies, medium and heavy support armour, which are identical in size to their line battalion counterparts.
Most of the balancing was based on the implementation of super heavy armoured support companies in the base game, I’m still a bit iffy on a few things so any feedback is appreciated
