Realistic AI Division Cap (Eco & Pop Based)
Are you tired of late-game lag caused by minor nations fielding 100+ divisions? This mod introduces a strict, dynamic division limit for AI countries based on their actual economic output and core population.
* Dynamic Limits: The AI can no longer endlessly spam divisions. Their maximum army size is calculated strictly based on their factory count and core population.
* Better Performance: Massively reduces late-game lag and CPU load by keeping the total global division count at realistic levels.
* Smarter AI: By capping their division spam, the AI is forced to focus on producing better templates and equipment rather than just starving their manpower pool.
* Player Exempt: These rules only apply to the AI. You retain full control over your own military build-up.
Every month, the mod calculates a specific cap for every AI nation:
* Base limit: 5 Divisions (so minor nations can at least defend themselves).
* +1 Division per every Factory (Civilian + Military + Dockyard).
* +1 Division per every 1 Million Core Population.
Once an AI nation hits this limit, they completely stop training new divisions until they either build more factories or lose existing divisions.
Highly compatible! This mod uses hidden background events and doesn’t overwrite any vanilla files. It should work perfectly with Road to 56, Kaiserreich, Millenium Dawn, and other major overhaul mods.
