Description:
No Super USA Version

This version removes the additional USA factories, resources, and extra balance changes related to AI behavior from the existing mod.

This version is intended for players who want the improved naval AI behavior without making the United States excessively stronger.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Maintained Balance Changes

  • Reduced late-game ship resource consumption
  • This is maintained because the AI quickly upgrades to late-game ship designs and produces more capital ships, but it cannot properly handle the increased resource consumption of late-game ships.
  • Increased ship range
  • This is maintained because the AI still does not properly move fleets beyond naval range limits.
  • Increased USA building slots
  • This is maintained because the AI builds more dockyards and needs additional space for later military factories.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Mode for Navy Lovers

This mod focuses on improving naval warfare and AI fleet behavior.

This mod fixes issues where the AI avoids naval engagements, operates only small fleets, and keeps producing outdated ships.

The balance has also been adjusted so that the United States can maintain a historically strong navy.

  • Actively conducts anti-submarine operations
  • Eliminates enemies that threaten its transport ships

Update 2025/11/25

Naval range and home port issue fixed.

In vanilla, there was an issue where USA ships could not properly travel between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans because of naval range limitations.

This happened because the AI did not properly change its home port.

To solve this issue, the naval range of all ships except submarines has been adjusted to match the range of the latest ships.

Additional Changes

  • USA, ENG, and JAPAN will now prioritize sending patrol and strike task forces to nearby waters if hostile ships are detected close to their mainland
  • ENG will actively conduct anti-submarine operations and eliminate enemies threatening its transport ships
  • USA will protect ENG instead if ENG is judged to be no longer capable of protecting its own mainland

Update 2025/12/14

Ship supply consumption has been significantly reduced.

Ship supply consumption has been reduced by 90%.

In the current supply system, if a fleet suffers from supply shortages, carrier-based aircraft lose organization and are unable to sortie.

Fleet supply is calculated based on the home port. However, the AI does not take this into account and often selects a nearby port in the operational area as its home port, even if that port has extremely poor supply capacity.

As a result, almost all AI fleets, except for small patrol groups, can remain in a constant state of supply shortage. Consequently, aircraft carriers are often unable to participate in combat.

This issue is especially noticeable for the United States, as it often fights near Japan while setting Pacific islands as home ports. This causes most of its carriers to become unable to engage in battles.

To address this problem, the supply consumption of ships has been greatly reduced.

This change resolves the issue where aircraft carriers fail to participate in combat due to fleet supply shortages.
