Short Description
- Customize the fort level (between 1 and 10) in the game rules “Maximum Fort Level” (default is 10). Set it to a low number if you are looking for a more challenging game. High fort levels are not for beginners; set it to a high number if elite difficulty is way too easy for you.
- Every state has a Stronghold Network at game start, if you have the DLC Götterdämmerung.
- Every province has a Land fort at game start between level 1 and 10. Max level depending on terrain and game rule “Maximum Fort Level”.
- Every coastal province has a Coastal fort at game start between level 1 and 10. Max level depending on terrain and game rule “Maximum Fort Level”.
- Hint: If you choose a high fort level, use all kind of battle support to push through enemy lines like railway guns, heavy artillery, flame tanks, air superiority, close air support, naval bombardment, strategic bombing, etcetera
