Soviet Territory Integration & Border Redraw
The Soviet Union can integrate all core territories of Belarus and Ukraine via decisions, which also removes the Belarusian core from Białystok. After integrating Eastern Poland (i.e., West Belarus and West Ukraine), the USSR can trigger a decision to redraw borders with Poland. If Poland accepts, it will lose its cores on Eastern Polish territories and gain cores on German territories east of the Oder River. (Note: I have implemented a separate monthly check for the Vilnius core; Poland will automatically lose this core if the state is owned by either the Soviet Union or Lithuania.)
Author’s Note: Even though the base AI chance for both accepting and rejecting is set to 50%, Paradox has hardcoded an extremely low tendency for the AI to willingly give up cores. As a result, Poland will normally reject the offer in most cases. To address this, I’ve added conditions where Poland will always accept if it shares a common enemy with the Soviet Union or if it is a Soviet puppet.
Additionally, considering that when Poland is a Soviet puppet, WWII may already be over, the player might be too strong to trigger the Yalta Conference, and the border negotiation decision might not have been taken during a shared war, Poland could miss out on the territories it was meant to receive as a reward. Therefore, I’ve added a mechanic where, if Germany is a Soviet puppet and Poland agrees to the negotiations, these aforementioned territories will be directly transferred to Poland. This applies even if Poland itself is not a Soviet puppet — after all, "Yes, the pact must be honored."
