It is the twenty-ninth millennium, and the galaxy burns. Cut off by treacherous warp storms, the once glorious colonies of man have devolved into savagery and destruction, falling prey to cruel xenos races and the minions of dark gods. No world has suffered greater than the very home world of humanity itself, Terra. The once crown jewel of civilization has collapsed into a maelstrom of anarchy, barbarism, and tyranny. Vast empires of techno-barbarians fight over the blasted wastes of the mother world, grinding their armies against each other in a cacophony of war. The golden era of humanity has ended, and dark times lay ahead.
But deep in the mountains of the Himalayas, an ancient power is stirring. A guiding hand, ever watchful, now rises to take action to save humanity—not just from the perils of the universe—but from itself. These are the tales of the Unification Wars.
Set in the destructive period of the Unification Wars, this mod attempts to bring to life the massive and detailed universe of Warhammer 40k on a (relatively) smaller scale. Play as the Imperium and reunite the lands of Terra, fight as one of the wild tribes of the Rus, struggle to maintain the Achaemenid’s ancient peace, or succumb to the dark powers of the Immaterium—the fate of mankind’s home is in your hands.
