Rise of Sparta
It is 1936, and fanatical Fascist leader Lysander Asterion has lead the Néa Spárti(New Sparta) into power, seizing it in a bloodless coup. This has lead to a boost in the stability of the region with promises of returning Greece to former glories not seen in over two thousand years. Under this, Greece has been dubbed the Spartan Empire and sits poised to shake the world with its newfound, or perhaps resurrected, fervor.
One of the first orders of this new regime was to return Rhodes to Greek control. Thanks be to the rich gold deposit found in the Koziakas Mountains, this island was purchased from Italy. However, due to the nature of the deal and tensions between the Balkan States and Italy, there remains an uneasy animosity between Sparta and Italy. On the other side of the coin, Sparta made a similar offer to the United Kingdom for ownership of Cyprus. This deal was struck with a much softer hammer and thus relations between the two nations remained the same.
Along with the Rhodes and Cyprus purchase, under the threat of war, the state of Istanbul was annexed by Sparta. Turkey, not wanting a full scale war with Sparta, conceded the territory.
Mod Changes
• Capital changed from Athens to Sparta.
• Greece’s names changed to Spartan Empire; Spartan.
• Greece’s color changed to a brilliant crimson.
• New flag.
• Fascist regime, under Néa Spárti.
• Leader name is Lysander Asterion with a new portrait.
• 20 Research slots.
• Massive boost to resources, 1,500 for each minimum.
• Massive manpower boost.
• Istanbul, Rhodes, and Cyprus under Spartan control and ownership.
• 45 Generals; Lvl 9, All Abilities 10, All Traits(Except Field Marshal).
• 16 Admirals; Lvl 9, All Abilities 10, All Traits.
• Limited Conscription, Limited Exports, and War Economy now set as default ideas.
Installation Instructions
• Click the "Subscribe" button.
• Launch Hearts of Iron IV.
• In the launcher, click the "Mods" tab.
• Click "Rise of Sparta" and make sure there is a check mark on the right.
• Launch the game and enjoy!
