Party Like it’s 1936
WORKS WITH IRONMAN!
This mod adds political party names for ALL nations in Hearts of Iron 4, and changes many of the existing ones.
I have tried to name them after Historical parties where possible, or after the party of the preset Leader if possible.
Where this has not been possible, I have either used political parties active after Hearts of Iron 4’s timescale, or made them up! For example, I couldn’t find the name of any fascist organisations in Kenya, so I made one up for that.
All of the parties will be transliterated from their native languages – No more half-and-half from vanilla!
I have shorterned a lot of party names for the displaying form (see screenshot) – It’s hard to know when to do this, so if you would prefer to see, for example, "Partito Nazionale Fascista" instead of "PNF" for Fascist Italy, let me know in the comments section and I’ll consider it 🙂
One final note, as HOI4 does not support all characters, there may be some issues from transliteration, where a character will show up with a ? instead of a letter – Please let me know and I’ll fix it. There’s over 100 countries in HOI4, so checking 400 parties my self is very time consuming and im likely to have missed some 🙂
