Army Experience from Research
This mod grants you army experience for researching land technologies. You will gain 10 for any technology used for support battalions (such as engineers or artillery) and 5 for any technology used for line battalions (such as self-propelled artillery). Also, there are new generic templates available for unlocking medium, heavy, and super-heavy tanks. Unlocking super-heavy tanks unlocks both a new template and awards 5 XP for those who wish to add these to infantry divisions instead.
Experience is awarded for every level of progress for each technology to deal with scenarios that start after 1936 and is meant for including newly researched battalions into your divisions without needing to exercise your army. You could potentially hoard it and use it for variants, but I am not skilled enough in modding to prevent this. Additionally, for some reason finishing two or more of these technologies on the same day will only grant you the experience from one of the technologies. This is another problem I wish I could fix, but I haven’t found a way to do so.
