Alpine: Country Names (Historically Accurate and Realistic Names Overhaul For Vanilla HOI4)
What is this mod? A Simple Overhaul of all Vanilla starting names as well as some inaccurate alternative once with all being accurate an exact to HOI4’s timeline (1900 – 1948) with Cold war if necessary (Note: the only exception I made for accurate names is the United Kingdom to which I left as it is as I prefer it to United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as well it suites it as well if Britain somehow loses Northern Ireland, However I will change this if desired)

Notable Examples/Changes:
Germany > Federal Republic of Germany
Germany > Kingdom of Germany (If gone Democratic through the “Constitutional Compromise” focus)
German Socialist Republic > German Democratic Republic (If puppet of Soviet Union)
Great Britain > United Kingdom (Neutrality)
Union of Britain > Union of British Socialist Republics (In line with the Soviet sympathy of Harry Pollitt leader of Communist Britain)
France > French Republic
Nation Française > French State (Same with Vichy as this was the official name)
United States > United States of America (Both Democratic and Neutrality)
Communist States of America > United Socialist States of America (the CPUSA under Browder would have likely kept a lot of the USA’s identity if in power)
Free American Empire > Commonwealth of America (In line with Pelley’s idea of a Christian Commonwealth)
China > Republic of China (Neutrality)
Reorganized Nationalist China > Reorganized National Government of the Republic of China
Italy > Kingdom of Italy (Both Fascist and Neutrality)
Italian Union > Italian People’s Republic
Soviet Union > Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Russian Federation > Russian Republic (The games time frame is more in line with the 1918 Russian Republic than the current post 1991 Russian Federation)
Russia > Russian Liberation Government (Makes more sense considering neutral Russia is based of KONR and the Russian liberation Army
Japan > Empire of Japan
State of Japan > Japan (In English it was know as simply Japan in non-English versions is says “State” prior to Japan)
Austria > Federal State of Austria (Distinguishes Neutral Austria as being more Fascist as before it can be easily confused as democratic for those un-familiar with the time period)
Deutschsozialen Austria > Land Österreich (The official name of Austria under German Rule)
All other Nations have full names now included as well I.E added Republic, Kingdom, Empire, State, Etc.
