Smaller 3D Sprites – Small Models (Redux)
RELEASE NOTES: Full support for base game and DLC (experimental) is now available.
The original sizes of 3D units, buildings and other models in the game are much too large and out of place in my opinion, that’s why I decided to revive this mod for the current game version to improve upon this issue.
The original mod Smaller 3D Sprites – Small Models has become unsupported and no longer functions properly. A large part of the tweaks had to be completely reworked and updated to work with animations correctly, assumedly due to changes in how models and animations play together in more recent versions of Hearts of Iron 4.
Ironman/Achievements/Multiplayer compatible.

This mod rescales original game models to a smaller size to remove visual clutter and improve usability and visuals. The following changes have been implemented thus far:
Additionally, some buildings and structures have been resized, along with particles to keep the original proportions at a smaller scale.
The current version of the mod supports the full base game as well as DLC.
Following DLC content has been rescaled:
- Poland: United and Ready
- Rocket Launcher Unit Pack
- Heavy Cruiser Unit Pack
- Battleships Unit Pack
- Battle for the Bosporus
- La Resistance
- Death or Dishonor
- Man the Guns
- Together for Victory
- Waking the Tiger
- Eastern Frontiers Planes Pack
Compatibility with previous and following game versions will in most cases be just fine, just try it out (even if the launcher marks this mod as outdated). Currently, the officially supported version is: 1.11.4
