After the defeat of the Achaemenids in the Greco-Persian wars they experienced a power vaccuum, the struggle for the throne. The throne of the worlds biggest empire in the world, yet. While the struggle for the throne ensues many greek and egyptians revolt and succesfully becomes independant, as the persian have internal struggle. Even tho Sparta won the peloponnesian war they are on a decline, with Athens slowly rising alongside the kingdoms of Epirus, Macedon and Odrysia. The nomadic tribes of Scythia and Sarmatia rides the vast plains above the black sea towards to eternal steppes in the east. Carthage is thriving, having gained control of many Phonecian colonies, but yet many resist and do not see Carthage as the leader of Phonecia. Many wait for the return of Tyre and its land in the Levant to rule the Phonecians once again, but the Achaemenids have firm control of the area. After the war with the Latin-league Rome vastly expanded its territory. But now having gained more enemies than friends the Samnites, Etruscans and Umbrians want to contain this burgeoning city. As the Etruscans has lost their land in the north, mainly due to gauls crossing the alps and settling in the Po valley. Syracuse and Magna Graecia in the south of the Italic peninsula has reaffirmed their control of the areas after a bloody war with Carthage, but their neighbour to the south wont rest. The Judeans, settled far and wide in the western mediterrenean has recieved yet another call from God, will they break loose of the Persian ties?
