Description:
CHRISTMAS UPDATE IS NOW LIVE

Greed’s Non-Historical Mod
From Discord: https://discord.gg/z7kem5Ra8U

This mod will be featured and hosted on Greed’s Gaming Lounge Discord Server.

This is a non-historical mod that works best when played in a multiplayer lobby, although this is not required.

This mod is specifically designed to create a non-historical game with realism sense while also connecting to alternative-history. To explain this more, the player should have the option to decide to go down whatever path he or she chooses in order to best satisfy the purpose they have for the game, while also playing with realistic economy, conscription, and trade laws, and many other factors that add a more realism sense to the game. Additionally, the player should have the option to participate in alternative-history campaigns such as a Middle-Eastern campaign, and South American campaigns. However, they should also almost be forced to participate in campaigns such as the Northern-African campaign. In most games, Libya is held by Italy with spare units, or abandoned completely leaving no actual conflict in Africa, this is one problem that the team seeks to address by adding reasons to fight in Africa such as resources, factories, but also national spirits both positive and negative.

This will be done by making economy laws represent a more realistic approach such as having civilian economy give a bonus to civilian factory construction speed and a small weekly stability modifier. Another change is having war economy and total mobilization give amazing military factory bonus’s while delivering horrible civilian factory construction bonus’s and stability / war support modifiers to accurate reflect the struggle citizens would be having with having little to no consumer goods. Other changes will be increasing conscription to match the needs of each country, as well as trade laws giving stronger bonus’s to give a stronger reason to be a capitalist society. Other realism will be reflected in small changes such as as the difficulty of crossing rivers, attacking in certain environments, and the way troops train and interact with each other.

Examples of additional campaigns being added to the game will be, but are not limited to, an expanded African campaign that will add more value to holding onto African colonies, while also pushing for expansions in enemy colonies. Libya and Egypt will be the two main rivals, while also promoting rivalries in Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco against Libya. National spirits will be added to as well in order to give more of an initiative to hold and push Africa, and participate in African affairs. An Arabian campaign to promote stronger activity in the region and alternative-history events with it will also be added to reflect the potential in the area without taking away from the non-historical premise.

Please keep in mind that this mod is extremely new, and the concept for this was created not too long ago while reflecting about RT56 and the changes that could be made to promote a more rich atmosphere. The mod team is around fifteen to twenty strong, with active testers, artist, researchers, the list goes on. Therefore, updates will continue to come out daily to weekly, with the large planned updates coming out bimonthly to monthly.
