What Does This Mod Do?

This is the player-only version of Building Slots Revamped: 100 Slot Edition.

The main version increases building slot capacity for everyone. This version keeps the extra building slot bonus under player control through the Decisions tab, so the AI will not activate the player-only slot expansion decision.

• Raises the maximum shared building slot limit to 100.
• Raises Civilian Factory, Military Factory, and Dockyard limits to 100 per state.
• Adds a decision that lets the player enable or disable an extra building slot national spirit.
• The player-only bonus brings the best vanilla state categories close to 50 slots before construction technology bonuses.
• Reworks the state building view into a compact shared building summary instead of showing every shared-slot building one by one.
• Keeps building removal available through fail-safe confirmation buttons.
• Disables factory conversion from the state window, because the grouped UI no longer exposes individual factories for conversion.

Important Notes

• The AI will not take the player-only slot expansion decision.
• New buildings should still be queued through the normal construction interface.
• Shared-slot buildings are shown as totals in the state window, such as Civilian Factory: 5 and Military Factory: 3.
• This mod is not Ironman compatible.

Compatibility

This mod can be used with many other mods, but be careful with mods that edit any of the following:

• common/buildings/00_buildings.txt
• interface/countrystateview.gui
• decision categories, if they use the same category namespace

It is generally not compatible with total conversion mods or large overhaul mods that add buildings or redesign the state window. Be careful with mods such as The Road to 56 or Old World Blues, because they often edit the same kinds of files.
