Pride and Fall: The Last Days of Poland

Welcome, travelers to a fairy tale land where magic happens on a daily basis. This mysterious country is called Poland.
It is known that Pride comes before the Fall. And The Fall came really abruptly. In 2025, the ruling Law and Justice party rigged the presidential election resulting in massive protests. Ensuing chaos bewildered the world. No one knew what exactly was happening. Still, Poland’s neighbors hesitated and refrained from any military intervention. Until the unimaginable happened. On June 13th a sudden atomic explosion of unknown origin evaporated the Bałuty district in the City of Łódź. Although the disappearance of Bałuty in a nuclear firestorm was not of great economic importance, it led to a total collapse of power structures in the Voivodeship, not to mention a German occupation of Western Poland. Those factors combined caused a chain reaction that eventually resulted in the total collapse of the state of Poland into numerous violent and deranged warlord cliques.
