Deo Vindice: Expanded is a submod created and developed by me that adds content to Mexico and a Huey Long focus tree to the mod Deo Vindice: A CSA in WWII Mod.

In continuation with the Deo Vindice lore, the Confederacy turns out victorious. This however, also affects Mexico. With the Confederacy winning, the United States takes even longer to intervene in Napoleon III’s invasion of Mexico. However, the french still withdraw from Mexico; but many more french people remain and stay in Mexico, and even more sympathies for Maximilian I. The Mexican Revolution occurs as normal, with minimal intervention from the US and CSA. The Confederacy takes Sonora from Mexico, like in the original mod. When the Cristero War in Mexico breaks out, the CSA, although having Ku Klux Klan influence, chooses to aid the Cristeros, seeing as both Texas, Louisiana and Sonora have a vast catholic population that began spreading east, as well as Jefferson Davis himself being catholic. The Confederacy did not at all support the federal government since they were massively secular and had hints of socialism. This leaves many Cristero generals alive, and Saturnino Cedillo, already being catholic himself, chooses to side with the Cristeros rather than the federal government. The Cristero War still ends up as a truce, but ends up more favorable for the church. This leads up to December of 1935 with the launch of the December Coup against the Mexican federal government. The taking of Sonora created more nationalism and more support for far right parties in Mexico. A broad coalition of these far right factions led the coup against the government and are now tasked with electing a leader.
The attempt on Huey Long’s life is never made. He runs for senate and expands his influence within the CSA, and rather than sticking with the democrat party, he creates his own party; the Christian Populist Party. When he creates the party, he gets a lot of people within his sphere of influence to switch parties. Louisiana becomes the first state to be nearly completely run by the party.

This submod also adds a couple cosmetic updates, such as custom loading screens, un-censoring the german flag and updating the major world leader portraits to TNO style.
The Huey Long path is out and also adds another loading screen. Also removed Napoleon from the mod and replaced with Otto Von Habsburg.
The next update to the mod will rework the United States.
