Japan Expansion: The Southern Colonies
Hello and welcome to this expansion mod for Japan. This small mod adds a tree for the development of the southern colonies within the Japanese Empire, with a particular focus on the South Seas Mandate. It aims to be as historical as possible in its content whilst adding some much-needed buffs to Japan. Overall, it is quite similar to the Manchurian Project branch but with a naval flair that benefits Japan directly.

Changes
- New industrial concern, Nanyo Kohatsu, specialising in island development.
- Development of aluminium resources in Palau (for non-WtT players).
- Focuses that provide more factories and infrastructure in the Mandate or Taiwan.
- Focuses that fortify the Mandate, especially Truk Lagoon.
- Ability to annex Timor after an invasion of Indonesia for historical flavour.
- Complete localisation of all new focuses to be as vanilla-like as possible.
Notes
This tree is going to be part of a larger mod I am working on. I uploaded it in advance as it seems great by itself as well and in case the other mod isn’t to some people’s liking.
