National Tech Trees
National Tech Trees Alpha version
(NOW UPDATED FOR 1.17 – Much of the new content for Graveyard of Empires is not updated so expect issues with those focus trees)
###############################
New to Patch 1.17:
Added new early Cold war aircraft and tanks for (1945 – 1952):
UK
USA
Soviet Union
France (Just aircraft)
In combination there are 4 special projects:
Air to air missiles
Air to Ground Guided Bombs
Anti-Ship guided missile
Main battle tank – This one unlocks either T-54, Centurion, M46 depending on your ideology and whether the specific nation has researched those tank techs.
in addition Amphibious drive can also be unlocked through special project.
To research the early cold war aircraft you require jet engines to be done through Special project and for the latest you will need axial jet engine researched through special projects.
Furthermore new artillery, anti air, anti tank techs have been added for 1945. (I might add more techs at a later date especially for infantry).
###############################
This attempts to create historical tech trees for the major nations. Its aim is to someone steer players to historical builds but not limit how they go about it. I intended this to be done along side a complete overhaul of the game (all new focus trees, changes to combat ect, however I thought people might enjoy this on its own).
adds unique tech trees for:
USA
UK/Commonwealth
Italy
Germany
Soviet Union
France (&Vichy)
Romania
Hungary
Finland
Japan
Poland
These range from Air trees, tanks, infantry equipment, new heavy artillery and anti air.
This is a alpha version since there is likely to be bugs.
The tank tech trees are based off Their Finest Bruh Tank trees however they are greatly expanded and modules have been overhauled.
It also changes Flame tanks into assault guns much like it does in TFB, however I have kept them as support companies and adjusted how many you will need to fill it out.
Aircraft modules have also been greatly simplified, the reason behind this is the aircraft designer does not add much (really you just want the best fighter design). Given this I have tried to balance so everyone can get specific stats on fighters at certain times. This meant removing a bunch of modules for aircraft. There is also a difference between torpedo bombers and dive bombers i.e one has more naval attack but less naval targeting.
Infantry techs are based off what historically was around, Germany does not get good Anti tank (only had access to anti tank rifles) but later on with the Panzerfaust and Panzershrek they get better anti tank. Similar case with Commonwealth with Boys anti tank rifle into the Piat.
In the case of the Soviets their are some infantry techs that improve the starting guns, that way you don’t need to upgrade to the latest equipment i.e keep building guns 1 for rest of the game, it would still be less stats but it saves on efficiency.
Overall I never intended this mod to really be separate but I think there is quite a bit of work in this not to share. I will try my best to keep it up-to date although I’m working on overhaul of all the nations to incorporate these tech trees.
I may add more tech trees for more nations like China. I may also make some air trees specifically for Romania.
