Left-Communism
This mod adds a left-communist path in the national focus trees of Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and France, complete with characters, cosmetics, decisions, and ideas that change how the economy functions. The mod adds the following:
National Focuses
This mod adds a left-communist branch in the national focus trees of Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and France, as well as a communist branch for Germany that includes both leftcom and non-leftcom options. The left-communist branches include:
– a ‘Communal Society’ economy law that gives similar bonuses to anarchist Spain’s unique economy law; the tradeoff in this case is not stability but consumer goods factories (50% of your factories will be dedicated to consumer goods, with no way to reduce this)
– a national focus leading to decentralization and a unique ‘Communal Allocation’ trade law that puts half of the resources of every nation that possesses it into a common pool that other nations with the trade law can utilize for free
– a national focus (mutually exclusive to the aforementioned one) leading to international unity and the ability to core any controlled states with sufficient compliance
– national focuses that add further bonuses and improvements in the spirit of left-communism.
Characters and Cosmetics
– This mod adds and/or modifies characters, parties, flags, cosmetic tags, etc. relevant to left-communism.
Things to add down the line
– A left-communist branch in the English national focus tree
– Further localization (besides English) if I get some help translating
Known Glitches
– If you have the ‘Communal Allocation’ trade law, using the button that automatically imports the needed amount of resources will cause the game to crash. You’ll have to manually import the desired amount of resources instead.
Compatibility
– Some content requires the La Resistance DLC.
– not compatible with mods that overwrite the national focus trees of the aforementioned nations, the La Resistance espionage operations for France, or the /common/countries/cosmetic.txt file.
– RT56 is not compatible without manually editing your save.
