Defying the Axis – A "Last Stand of Freedom" Submod-dev
When President Roosevelt said that the Armed Forces needed to be expanded, none believed him. When the Axis overran Europe and Asia in a matter of months, none thought they would cross the oceans that surround us. When German U-boats were spotted in the Caribbean, none believed they were real.
But such delusion can only last so long. Axis forces struck on February 16, 1942, in the largest coordinated assault in history. The Japanese overran the Philippines and Hawaii while the Germans and Italians swarmed into the Caribbean and the islands off the East Coast. Unable to resist them, we retreated to the Continental US and hunkered down for the inevitable.
And then it came, apocalypse. Despite the fierce resistance of our brave men and women, the Axis were able to force their way ashore. Now as the greatest military machines on the planet bear down on us with their full strength, there is only one question on everyone’s minds: "Can we win this?"
Based off "Last Stand of Freedom" by PreciousPig, "Defying the Axis" is a mod that gives the US a new focus tree, as well as many other tools to fight the Axis. This mod can also be run on its own, and should not be run with "Last Stand of Freedom." Although it will work, you will miss out on content by running the mods together.
