Description:
Welcome everyone!

The MTG Navy Overhaul Mod reworks a lot of aspects of Hoi4’s naval warfare. At the core of the mod is the new designer that allows far greater customizability for warships. It comes with dozens of new modules and technologies. For those who are not as familiar with the navy system, the mod features a Handbook that can be accessed while playing which summarizes the most important things and allows easy entrance into the world of Hoi4’s navy and this mod.

Designer

The main focus of the mod lies on the designer. It allows the player to choose many more aspects that were vital for ship design in the 1930s and 40s, such as Belt, Deck and Internal Armor, Torpedo Protection, Damage Control Facilities as well as Sensors, Funnel Count and much more.

The weapons and auxiliary equipment are placed directly onto the hull of the ship, allowing for flexible designs and hundreds of different layouts.

Trade

MTG Navy Overhaul improves Overseas Trade in numerous ways, making it more profitable, necessary and high-risk. These changes include a new Building, harsher Trade Laws and more punishing effects of Convoy Raiding.

Ship Commissions

Another feature of MTG Navy Overhaul are Ship Commissions, which allow majors to build ships for other nations with varying degrees of compensation. The window is opened from the Production Tab and if a player is controlling a major, they can choose to automatically accept or deny requests from there.

Handbook

A trusty Handbook has been added to the game. It can be used to familiarize yourself with the different roles of ships and nuances of naval combat, as well as offering a quick insight into the things the mod changes from vanilla.
It can be opened near the upper right corner.

No Compromise, No Surrender and Future Plans

Due to the release of patch 1.17, the previously beloved Reworked Doctrine is no longer a part of MTG Navy Overhaul. I am planning on reworking the new Doctrines as well, recapturing the spirit of my old changes.
The update added an Escort Carrier Special Project, as well as a new system of Naval Dominance. These changes have inspired me to rethink Naval Equipments again, so new Ship Hulls and more will be coming soon.
Submarine Techs are incomplete right now, but will be updated soon.

…and much more!

Further changes include new and improved Navy Spirits and Technologies, as well as tweaks to Navy Combat and Production.
