Between Empires is an alternate history mod that explores the idea of “what if” caucasian nations of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan were independent during World War II. In this universe the Red Army fails its invasion of the caucasus because the three nations decided to fight alongside each other and kick the Soviet Army out of their homelands. Now independent their future is very uncertain. Each nation must find its own path, whether through diplomacy or military strength.
– Added custom states and provinces in the Caucasus region.
– Added new cities for Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
– Added custom generals, field marshals, advisors, leaders.
– Added national spirits for countries.
– Caucasian nations have army and industry focus trees.
– Custom political party names for all countries.
– New gun GFX for all countries.
– New Ideology icons for all countries.
– New Flags and country names.
– Graphical Optimizations to slightly boost performance.
– Custom Formable nations
I plan to add a lot more content to make the gameplay more interesting and immersive. Here’s what’s coming in future updates:
- Each country will be able to go down different ideology paths.
- Russian localisation
- Content for other countries
This is just the beginning, and I plan to keep improving the mod over time! Please share all feedback and any new ideas.
